The listing identifies the infrastructure layers required to move a voice agent from a software environment to a live telephone call. Vapi provides the platform used to build and operate voice agents, including conversation logic, models, tools, workflows and observability. didlogic provides the phone numbers, SIP connectivity, carrier routing and connection to the public switched telephone network (PSTN).

Vapi's developer documentation includes a dedicated didlogic SIP integration guide covering inbound routing, outbound calling and SIP REFER transfers. didlogic is one of seven telephony providers with a provider-specific SIP guide in the Vapi documentation.

A developer purchases a phone number from didlogic, creates SIP credentials, and connects the trunk to Vapi using a regional didlogic SIP gateway. Inbound calls to the number are routed to the assigned Vapi assistant, while outbound calls initiated by the assistant are carried across the didlogic network. SIP REFER is supported for transferring live calls from an AI assistant to a human operator.

The configuration keeps the agent platform and the carrier layer separate. Teams can rebuild or replace their Vapi assistants without changing phone numbers or underlying telephony infrastructure. They keep their own numbers as caller identification and retain direct control over SIP configuration and carrier routing.
